🎓 Senior Spotlight: Bryleigh Nicole Perkins 🎓
Bryleigh Nicole Perkins is the proud daughter of Roger Perkins and Brandy Fisher, and a loving sister to Bayleigh, Keetien, and Quintien. Known for her easygoing nature and strong family ties, Bryleigh enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, hanging out with the Twin Flames, and taking her dogs to the river.
Reflecting on her high school years, Bryleigh shared that one of her favorite memories was sharing laughs in science class with her friend McKenzie. When it comes to teachers who made a lasting impact, she named Mrs. Cox as her favorite, saying, “She’s always given me the best advice and genuinely cares about her students.”
Bryleigh says she’ll miss seeing her friends every day, and one important lesson she’s taking with her is how to tackle math—something she’s worked hard to improve. Her farewell advice to underclassmen is simple but sincere: “The less friends, the better.”
After graduation, Bryleigh plans to pursue her passion for beauty and style by attending cosmetology school.
Bryleigh’s favorite subject in school is math, and when it comes to hobbies, she enjoys driving around while learning multiplication. As for her favorite movie, she’s a fan of After, and if she had to choose just one meal to eat for the rest of her life, it would definitely be chicken—though she could easily live on Chinese food too. The person who has influenced her the most is her sister, Bayleigh, who always gives the best advice. Not many people know that Bryleigh is actually a pretty chill girl. In terms of books, the last one she read was Where the Crawdads Sing, and as far as travel goes, her dream destination is Paris.
Bryleigh, your journey is just beginning, and your future is as bright as your smile. Congratulations on your achievements, and best of luck as you chase your dreams in the world of cosmetology! "Never forget where you came from, but always keep moving forward."

🙏See You at the Pole 2025🙏
See You at the Pole is an international, student-led day of prayer and worship held on the fourth Wednesday of September, commencing before school, where students congregate at school flagpoles to pray for their schools, communities, families, and nation. We commend Lauren Martin for her leadership in guiding the students' prayer this year.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Adam and the members of our high school band for their leadership in the worship music this morning.
We would also like to express our gratitude to our local churches for their generous donation of bracelets inscribed with scriptures, which were made available to anyone who desired one.
What a beautiful way to start our school day.

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Taylor Ann Williams 🎓
Taylor Ann Williams is the daughter of Steven and Jana Williams and the older sister to Kylie. Throughout her high school years, Taylor has been an active member of many clubs and teams, including volleyball, track, BETA, FBLA, and student council, where she served as class president for her senior year. Outside of her school activities, Taylor loves to bake, do crafts, play volleyball, and spend time with her family and her boyfriend, Cash.
When reflecting on her high school experience, Taylor’s favorite memory is winning the volleyball state championship, a moment she’ll cherish forever. She’ll miss seeing her teachers every day, and one important lesson she’s learned is how quickly time passes. As for her favorite teacher, she named Mrs. Dixon, although Taylor admitted that picking just one is tough because all of her teachers have been her favorites.
Taylor’s farewell advice to her underclassmen is heartfelt:
“Cherish every moment of high school. You will blink and it will be your senior year.”
The people who’ve influenced Taylor the most have been Coach Denning, who always pushed her to excel, and her parents, Steven and Jana, who have supported her constantly. As she finishes her senior year, Taylor hopes to prepare herself for college and her future better.
After graduation, Taylor plans to attend either a state technical school or OTC to pursue a Physical Therapy Assistant program. Her backup plan is to study teaching at MSU in Springfield. When asked how she’d like to be remembered, she shared, “I want to be remembered as sweet, nice, loving, caring, and responsible.”
A few of Taylor’s favorites: Taylor’s favorite meal is lasagna with garlic bread, and her favorite subject in school is English. Her favorite hobby is organizing, and when it comes to travel, her dream destination is the Maldives, where she hopes to stay in a bungalow overlooking the ocean. When it comes to TV, Taylor loves watching college volleyball matches.
Taylor, as you step into the next chapter of your life, we wish you nothing but success and happiness in all your future endeavors. We hope you look back on your time at Winona R-III and treasure the memories you’ve made along the way. “Your future is as bright as your heart is kind.”
