Kindness Club members agreed you’re are never to old to enjoy a little bit of candy, so we put together Halloween ‘treat bags’ to deliver to Winona Senior Center. We also colored cards to send with their treats.

Our 3rd-grade classes engaged in a book tasting event last Friday discovering different genres of books. Donuts and juice complemented the experience perfectly! Students enjoyed sampling various books while savoring treats. Many discovered new preferred genres and are now enthusiastic about reading more. The teacher effectively utilized this opportunity as well. Later that afternoon, they had a paper airplane competition.
