Winona High School Beta Club attended National Convention in Nashville TN July 1st-4th. They had a great time competing in performing arts, onsite drawing, visual arts and attending convention sessions. Carter Voyles brought home a 9th place award for Division II woodworking. BETAS also had time to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the Historic RCA studio B. During the studio B tour students were able to sit in the very studio where Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, Roy Orbison, among many other artists recorded hit songs. The band students were given the opportunity to record a couple songs and even allowed to play the very piano used by those artists of the 50's 60's and 70's. Thanks to all the parents and supporters that helped make Beta Convention 2022 an awesome experience.
