Winona Wildcats ran off with the lead late in the game in a 17-9 victory over Summersville on Monday. The game was tied at 9 with Winona batting in the bottom of the 5th when Robert Kapp singled n a 2-2 count, scoring 1 run.
Winona was boosted by Cash Pasley who went 4 for 4 at the plate. Pasley singled in the 1st, 4th and 5th innings and doubled in the 6th inning. Winona captured the lead in the 2nd inning. They scored 1 run on a stolen base. They evened things up at 9 in the bottom of the 4th inning. Kaiden VanWinkle singled on a 2-1 count, scoring 1 run.
After Summersville scored 1 run in the top of the 3rd, Winona answered with 1 of their own. Summersville scored when Dawson Beavers singled on a 2-1 count, scoring 1 run. Winona then answered when VanWinkle singled on a 2-1 count, scoring 1 run.

Summersville scored 4 runs in the 4th inning. The big inning for Summersville came thanks to Zach Craig and Tristan Duncan, a walk by Garrin Greear, and a single by Zeke Jones.
Zach Pulliam got the win for Winona. The righty went 4 and 2/3's innings, allowing 4 runs on six hits, striking out 4 and walking 1.
Craig took the loss for Summersville. the pitcher surrendered 2 runs on 0 hits over 1/3 inning, striking out 1.
