Seniors 2020

We would like to spotlight our Seniors.  We have put out a questionnaire and these are the responses we have received.  We hope to get them back from all the seniors.

When did you start school at Winona? I started school at Winona in head start.

Most listened to songs on the way to school? I’m not really sure, just whatever came on my shuffle first.

If you could bring three of your classmates on a cross country road trip who would you pick? Why? I would pick Anna Cox, Erica Vermillion, and Abigail Miley because they’re always fun to be around.

Which team games were the most fun to attend? Definitely softball games because of the amazing memories I got to make.

Plans after high school? I plan to go to Mizzou to pursue a medical degree.

What’s your favorite filter to use on Snapchat? Ultimate zoom, I use it all the time.

Most embarrassing memory in high school? My sister’s promposal for me my freshman year.

Favorite teacher? Why? I could never choose a favorite. All of my teachers have had a big impact on me, and I’m so grateful for all of them.

If you could change one school rule, what would it be? Having an open campus for lunch.

When you attend your 10 year reunion what do you hope to see? I hope to see all of my classmates there actually getting along.

What stressed you out the most? Dual enrollment classes, but I’m grateful for the opportunity to have that head start on college.

Favorite high school memory? I have too many good memories to choose a favorite.

What’s your pet peeve? Hearing people chew with their mouths open. 

What’s your best advice to underclassmen? Always be yourself, and cherish all of your time in high school because it will be over faster than you think. 

What accomplishment are you most proud of? My academic achievements, placing at Beta nationals, and winning softball districts.
